Twitter lists are extremely useful for social media marketing, but it can take a lot of time and effort to setup and manage your lists manually. Imagine you want to populate your twitter list with 100 users. You will need to go to each user one by one and add it to your list. It will take you atleast one hour to do so. Twitter list can contain 5000 members, to populare all 5000 members will take you days of work.
We are just launched a new service allowing to import list of users into your twitter list. You can also specify another user's list and we copy it into yours.
Due to API limitations our service limited as follows:
- maximum 1000 users can be imported from your file/list
- maximum 300 users can be copied from another twitter list
Here is how you can import list from your file
- Signin with your twitter user on http://www.vicconsult.com/twitter-list-manager-upload-csv/. This will grant our application to manage your twitter list and add new members.
- We will show all your lists currently defined on Twitter with number of member each list curently has. You should select the list you want to import into. You must create the list before you signing in to our service. You must logout and login if you not created your list prior.
- After you selected your list you will be presented with two options to specify list of your own users, or specify URL of someone else's list.
- Past list of users into text area. Each user per line, maximum of 1000 users.
- Click on button to save your request.
- After request was saved sucessfully you will see the option to pay onetime fee to process this request.
- As soon as payment done, within 24 hours we will add members to your twitter list from your list of users. We will reply to you when request was fulfilled.
How to copy users into your Twitter list from someone else's twitter list

- Type in the URL of someone else's list. To find the URL, you should navigate on twitter.com to the user's list. For example https://twitter.com/vicconsult/lists/seo , meaning under user @vicconsult there is a list named SEO.
- Click on button to save your request.
- After request was saved sucessfully you will see the option to pay onetime fee to process this request.
- As soon as payment done, within 24 hours we will add members to your twitter list from your list of users. We will reply to you when request was fulfilled.
The Twitter Manager tool works best with our Twitter Search Extract tool, which allows you to download Twitter search results in excel format, including Twitter usernames. These usernames can be used as input list for your Twitter list. Just search with specific hashtags or keywords to identify the required targeted population.
